Summer use
Innershell is a real boost to a lightweight layering system. Being windproof and weighing only 90gms the Innershell acts as a barrier to windchill without significantly adding to pack size and weight.

Winter use
In cold conditions the Innershell increases the efficiency of other layers in the system by stopping cold air displacing the warm air in your clothing. This allows users the option of selecting lighter or less costly garments which might otherwise be inadequate.

Touring & expeditions
The Innershell takes up little space and increases layering options which is useful when covering large distances in varying temperatures. On arriving at ones destination the Innershell also serves a lightweight windproof top.
